JOHN BUNKER
As one critic expressed, “The subjects of his paintings are simmering with energy, saturated with fragments of color, and wonderfully alive.”
Beyond creating an extensive and varied body of work over his 50 year career as a professional artist, John Bunker has also sustained an impressive museum career – which includes being the long-term associate director and interim director of the Jacksonville Art Museum and director of the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. He is a graduate of both the Smithsonian Institution’s Fundamentals of Museum Management and the J.P. Getty’s Museum Management Institute of UC Berkeley.
As an active volunteer in the Jacksonville Community, John Bunker has served as President of the Riverside Fine Arts Association Concert Board, a member of JaxPride, Chairman of the Koger Gallery of Art and Gardens Advisory Committee, curator of the Jacksonville International Airport Art Commission, member of Art in Public Places Committee, board member of Patrons of the Arts, board member JAG, and vestry member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
John Bunker’s artworks are included in numerous museum, corporate, public and private collections in the United States and abroad. Several corporate collectors include: AT&T Universal Card, The Mayo Clinic, First Coast Oncology Centers, Nordstroms, First Union Bank, Bank of America, North Florida College, Vistakon, The Florida Senate, Riverside House of Junior League, Orlando JetPort, Timuquana Country Club, Stein Mart, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of North Florida, The Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art and the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens.

GINGER SHERIDAN
Ginger Sheridan retired as a full professor of photography in the spring 2021, where she had taught for 22 years. While there, Ginger built the photography program from one to over 25 majors and minors. She developed a strong, interactive curriculum based on a deep understanding of the history, craft, and creative aspects of photography.
Ginger holds a Master of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in photography from Ohio University as well as a Master of Arts degree with a concentration on the history and criticism of art from Florida State University.
Ginger has lectured often, including at the American Embassy, in Prague, Czech Republic, her local branch of the public library, the Society of Photographic Educators and the College Art Association Annual Conference. For 15 summers she had authored, administrated, and taught on the New Millennium Grand Tour in Italy, France, and England. She currently works part-time for the Center for International Studies, designing and implementing online micro-credential courses on cross-cultural agility.

PABLO RIVERA
Our Children’s Art Show judge is renowned artist Pablo Rivera. Mr. Rivera is an accomplished photographer, drawer, watercolorist, and sculptor. He has exhibited in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, California, and Florida. In the greater Jacksonville area, he has exhibited with the St. Augustine Art Association, The Museum of Contemporary Art of Jacksonville, The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, and The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach to name a few. He has been a guest judge for both the Children’s Art Show and the Mandarin Art Festival in years past, and now serving as the Children's Art Show primary judge.
